Wir freuen uns riesig, dass She Makes War (http://shemakeswar.com), das Solo-Projekt der britischen Multi-Instrumental-istin Laura Kidd, im Oktober unser Wohnzimmer beehrt, vor allem da sie Ende Oktober dann mit The Levellers die größeren Hallen der Republik (wie z.B. die Batschkapp in Frankfurt) bereist. Ihre Musik ist geprägt von der Nutzung der unterschied-lichsten Instrumente, die über Loops zu ihrem sehr eigenen, doch immer interessanten Klangbild verknüpft werden.

Die finnische Band Vellamo wird am „Tag der deutschen Einheit“ bei uns aufspielen. Pia und Joni bringen ihre ganz eigene Mischung aus finnischen und internationalen Folksongs mit.
